I get asked about my skin more than anything else, and the honest answer is a little boring: it's the same three products, every morning, in the same order. No ten-step routine, no shelf of half-used jars. Just the things that earned their spot and stayed.

Step one: the glow serum

This is the product that started the whole edit. It's under $30, it sinks in fast enough that you're not waiting around with a sticky face, and it's the difference between skin that looks awake and skin that looks like you got up at 5am (even when you did). One pump, pressed in with fingertips, right after washing my face. That's it.

What I like most is what it doesn't do — no fragrance headache, no pilling under sunscreen, no purging week. If you're new to serums, this is a gentle place to start.

Step two: tinted SPF

Coverage and sunscreen in one step is the biggest time-saver in the routine. It evens things out enough that I skip foundation entirely most days, and because it's an actual SPF, I'm not doing the mental math of layering makeup over sunscreen. A pea-sized amount does my whole face. Blend it with fingers — a brush wastes half of it.

Step three: lip oil

The one that's on camera in basically every video. It's glossy without being glue-sticky, and it doubles as a little cheek tint in a pinch. I keep one at my desk, one in the tote, and one by the door, which tells you everything about how often I reach for it.

How it all layers

  • Wash face, pat mostly dry — serum goes on better with a bit of dampness left.
  • Serum first, one pump, all over.
  • Wait about a minute (I use it to make matcha), then tinted SPF.
  • Lip oil last, reapplied whenever I remember through the day.

Total time is under five minutes, and it films well — which matters when your bathroom mirror is also your studio.
